beverage cooler transport option maritime museum
the room included an in-room beverage cooler for our use. the location was close to transport options and north beach. we found a museum of the maritime national historic park in the same building (it was quite interesting!).
the hotel parking fee seemed somewhat high.

underwhelming stay near fisherman's wharf
public lot morning noise
Valet parking was advertised at one price, but i discovered the car was actually parked in a public lot down the street. i could have saved a significant amount of money if i parked myself. also, our room faced the street. early morning noise from garbage trucks made it difficult to sleep. The noise level was a big issue.

skipped housekeeping overworked staff
the location was acceptable since it was near the waterfront (i guess that is a plus).
i had issues with housekeeping not doing their job. i left the room in the morning with the request indicator on, but when i returned after a rainy day, the room remained uncleaned. also, i noticed most of the staff did not smile, and they was overworked (not a great vibe).

nautical charm!
nautical decor convenient location spacious room
the hotel features nautical decor. the location is very convenient for exploring nearby attractions. we enjoyed the spacious room with two queen beds (it was like a real treat).
the elevator signs were not very visible, it was a minor inconvenience.
